Young ISES - Scholarhsip Information

For our Young ISES members and all interested:

At the recent EuroSun 2018 in Rapperswil, Switzerland, we had the chance to meet many Young ISES members and to learn about their research and work.

We also learned about an interesting scholarship opportunity that we would like to share with you: the Swiss Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Scholars and Artists for the 2019-2020 Academic Year.

Each year the Swiss Confederation awards Government Excellence Scholarships to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and over 180 other countries. Recipients are selected by the awarding body, the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS).

The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are aimed at young researchers from around the world who have completed a master’s degree or PhD, and at foreign artists holding a bachelor’s degree.

Starting in September, you can receive your application package and start the application process - please note that the deadlines vary depending on your country of origin.
