Intersolar South America: ARE Off-grid Workshop
ISES is happy to promote ARE's workshop at Intersolar South America 2018!
With more than 12,500 visitors and 240 international exhibitors expected to attend, the 6th Intersolar South America exhibition and conference, which takes place between 28-30 August 2018, is the key platform for promoting solar technologies in the region this year. Given the advanced status of electrification in urban areas, the real interest now focuses on clean off-grid in remote communities.
After last year's success, ARE is once again organising a half-day off-grid workshop at Intersolar South America from 12.00 - 16.00 on 28 August 2018 focusing on empowering communities through clean energy access.
The ARE Off-Grid Workshop will have sessions dedicated to:
- What support is needed for rural communities to access clean energy?
- Real-world business models and new Innovations in off-grid services
- Financing structures and de-risking instruments for off-grid solutions in LAC and future prospects
The workshop will be concluded with a Networking session to promote private-sector involvement and cross-fertilisation between local SMEs, financiers and international companies.
