ISES supports the GSC COVID-19 Solar Survey
ISES is supporting GSC to track effects of COVID-19 emergency and understand possible scenarios
The health emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic is having serious repercussions around the world in terms of health, wider society and the economy. The disruption is evolving rapidly, and governments and other institutions are implementing emergency responses.
The International Solar Energy Society (ISES), as a founding member and association director on the board of the Global Solar Council (GSC), is supporting a GSC initiative to learn about how the emergency is affecting you and how your business is responding. The GSC is launching a survey to gather critical information from the solar industry and its stakeholders on the impacts of the crisis to solar markets. It's important to gather information about the situation on the ground so we can keep you informed about how the wider sector is responding. Your input will also help identify actions that need to be taken to mitigate disruption and advocate for stimulus measures that protect solar jobs and encourage investment in clean technologies.
By working together at this time of crisis we can build a stronger solar industry for the future.
We ask for 5 minutes of your time so that we can gather input from as many solar businesses around the world. All responses are anonymous and will be analyzed in aggregated form only.
The findings from the survey will be published by the Global Solar Council and presented in a webinar organised for Thursday 23rd April at 2pm CET, featuring GSC members and leading experts to discuss how the solar industry is responding to this new scenario.
Please kindly complete the survey before 18th April.
