ISES Session at VoltaX Energy Systems Expo
Members of the ISES Board of Directors and invited speakers will present a special session on Co-location of Solar Energy and Energy Storage – An International View at this years VoltaX energy systems expo in Stuttgart, Germany on March 27.
About the event:
The utilization of solar energy is limited by the fluctuating availability of this source. Energy storage, however, is able to provide a demand adapted supply of electricity and to secure market optimization for solar assets. In addition, the storage system is able to supply services for grid stability as well as various trading options (multi-use of storage device). If the solar energy plant and energy storage capacity are placed close to each other, energy can be provided from this supply site continuously to the electricity or heating grid. This session jointly organized by the international Solar Energy Society, ISES, together with the German Energy storage Systems Association, BVES, shall inform about international and national examples of this “Co-location” approach.
