Technical tour to Shams-1 site
Located in western Abu Dhabi, Shams 1 is the largest renewable energy project in operation in the Middle East. It occupies 2.5 square kilometers and has a capacity of 100 megawatts. The solar field has 768 parabolic trough collectors to generate clean, renewable electricity.
The technical tour will take place on Sunday 29 October 2017. All conference participants and guests are invited and welcome to join. The technical tour is an extra cost (USD75) and may be purchased during registration. If you have already registered, please log in again and add the technical tour.
