Save the Date for EuroSun 2024!

The ISES and the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme are pleased to announce that EuroSun 2024 - the ISES and IEA SHC International Conference on Sustainable and Solar Energy for Buildings and Industry will take place from 26 - 30 August 2024 in Limassol, Cyprus.

EuroSun 2024 is jointly organized by ISES, the International Solar Energy Society and the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme. Locally, the conference will be hosted by the Cyprus University of Technology and co-organized by ISES Cyprus, the local ISES section.
The conference programme will include distinguished keynote speakers, plenary sessions, technical oral and poster sessions, workshops, technical tours, dedicated events for young researchers as well as social events where you will have the opportunity to network, meet old friends and to make new ones.

Call for Papers & Abstract Submission

We warmly invite you to submit your extended abstracts relating to the EuroSun 2024 conference themes and topics! The call for papers will be issued in January 2024 and the submission portal will open in January 2024.

How to prepare your abstract for submission: When preparing your abstract, please adhere to this abstract template. Only abstracts submitted using this abstract template can be considered for review. Failure to adhere to this template will lead to elimination from the abstract review process.

In advance of the event, accepted abstracts will be published in the internal conference area accessible to registered conference attendees. This allows attendees to prepare for attending the conference by familiarizing themselves with your work. Please keep in mind that the abstract you submit will be the abstract the attendees will be provided with and make sure to adhere to the abstract template.

 

How to submit: Please submit your abstracts via the abstract submission portal only. The portal will open in January 2024 on the conference homepage. Only papers submitted via this portal can be considered for review and acceptance for presentation. Please do not send in your abstracts via email.

 

What happens next?:

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by two reviewers in a blind-review process. Abstracts can be accepted for either oral or poster presentation at EuroSun 2024 or can be rejected. All authors will be informed of the outcome of their abstract review and next steps via mailing.
  • In advance of the event, accepted abstracts will be published in the internal conference area accessible to registered conference attendees. This allows attendees to prepare for attending the conference by familiarizing themselves with your work. Please keep in mind that the abstract you submit will be the abstract the attendees will be provided with and make sure to adhere to the abstract template.
